Day 3 with Daddy gone

I got on a decorating kick today so I've been dragging the boys all around town looking for things for their bedroom and also Peytons nursery. They've been really good though. I got them out early enough where they weren't onry because they were tired. Then came home and put it all together. I still haven't found what I went out looking for though. I'm looking for a vintage type picture of sports for their bedroom. But I couldn't find anything. I found a couple of Babe Ruth ones but I just want like different sports balls all together or something like that. I was going to take them to Target and just get their picture taken with sports stuff but then I remembered Tylers face isn't so picture friendly right now. So if I can't find what I'm looking for I'll have to wait until it gets better. We're babysitting my niece Brooklyn right now and the boys love it. They are trying to get her to play with swords but she's not really into them. She's a couple months younger then Tyler but Tyler thinks he's WAY bigger and is bossing her around and trying to give her hugs all the time. It's pretty cute!!

Pond Pictures/ Car Wash

Here's some more pond pictures and car washing pictures!!!

Day 2 with Daddy gone

So today I took the boys to Beus Pond in Ogden with some ladies from my ward. They had a lot of fun. First we went to Carls Jr and got some lunch. Which was kindof a waste of money because Bryan and Colby didn't even eat any of theirs. They were two busy playing on the playground with their friends. At least me and Tyler enjoyed ours. Then we went down and fed the ducks. Well, at first it was more like feeding the fish because the ducks kept swimming away. But then we found some seagulls and they enjoyed Bryan and Colbys french fries from their happy meals. They had a lot of fun playing with their friends and just being outside. We stopped at Jakes Over the Top on the way home and got their favorite, Strawberry Shakes!! The cotton was so bad out there that the inside of my car was just cotton everywhere. And since I have allergies I didn't think that would be so good to stay there. So when we got home we cleaned our car and vacuumed it out. The boys had a lot of fun helping me and squirting me with the hose!!

Sorry about the pictures not being in a slideshow. I know that makes it easier to view them but my mom can't save them if they are in a slideshow and I like to print out my blog entries and use it as my journal, and I can't print out the slideshow pictures :)

Day 1 with Daddy gone

Bryan had his very last T-ball game yesterday. When he had his first game my mom wanted to take him out to dinner, anywhere he wanted to go. So he picked Taco Maker. Then after every single game that is where we had to go to dinner cause it was a tradition. So I'm kind of glad the games are over cause I was getting sick of Taco Maker. But Bryan wouldn't let us go anywhere else. After the game we went to my moms house to watch Bacholorette. The boys went outside to go "Strawberry Hunting" in my moms garden. They always come back with a ton of Strawberries. Well, we told them they had to wash them outside with the hose so they wouldn't get the house a mess. About ten minutes later we can hear them laughing really loud. So we go out there and they put the hose on top of the pool cover and made their very own slip-n-slide. It was so funny, they were even going down the slide on their bellies and gliding along the cover. Of course we had to take pictures cause it was so cute. We just didn't tell Grandpa to come out and watch, he probably wouldn't have been too happy thinking that the cover was going to break or something. But don't worry, they play on it all the time it can hold a couple thousand pounds without ripping I think. The cutest part was when Tyler finally got involved. The older boys taught him to do belly flops onto cover. So he would stand on the side and yell, "bewwy fwop" and then land on his belly into the water.

Widow Week/Wipeout!

So some women just have a widows weekend when their husbands go hunting. Well, for me its a Widows ENTIRE Week. :( Rob has scout camp this week and since all of his assistants bailed on him at the last minute he has to be up there the entire week. I was so mad, at first he was going to come back on Wednesday but now not until Saturday. Luckily he has a job that understands that being Scoutmaster is not an easy job and they understood when he told them he had to go. Good thing is that my dad is going to be out of town until Thursday so I'm sure there will be a lot of shopping and hanging out with Grandma this week. Plus Rob went to the store this morning to get some last minute snacks and came back with Zelda for the Wii. That will definitely eat up a lot of our week. I've already played it like 4 hours I think. But I have to keep taking breaks cause it gives me a headache. At least we got to spend some time with him this weekend before he left. But we had a little bit of an accident with Tyler. He is normally a pro when it comes to going up and down stairs. But we were at my moms house on Friday night and he slipped when he was going down the deck stairs. He must have landed directly on his head cause he had a HUGE goose-egg on his forehead. He was so sad and his face looks so bad. Now it just kind of looks like road rash though. I tried to get a good picture today but whenever he sees the camera he "cheeses" so it was hard to get the side of his face. Hes feeling better now until I try to put medicine on it. He doesn't like that so much.

Swim Fun at Grandmas!!!

Its been such nice weather lately that I swear we've gone swimming every single day this past week. The boys love the water and spend most of their time underneath it or jumping into it. Colby is doing so good now he doesn't need help at all. He just swims where ever he wants just like Bryan. Tyler is starting to like going under water now and wants to do it all the time. I just wish he would wear goggles like his brothers cause he opens his eyes and then laughs cause he can see Bryan or Colby waving to him. Today they started going down the slide on their bellies so I grabbed my camera to take some pictures. Normally they'll only go down feet first. Colby did it first cause he's our daredevil. But then when Bryan saw how much he liked it he started doing it too. Then of course Tyler had to go down too, but only with Daddy for right now. They love the pool!!!
