Disney Part 2

Colby really wanted to do the "Jedi Academy Training", for those of you without boys you might not know what this is. Its over in Tomorrow Land and they pick out 30 kids or so to go through this Jedi training. They give you Jedi robes and lightsabers. And then they teach you some Jedi moves. Colby was so excited to do it. But when the Jedi Master was picking kids he picked everyone around Colby but him. My mom was so mad that she just pushed Colby into the line that the kids were in. Then someone came over and asked how old he was, she said 3, but the guy said you had to be four. Well, he's going to be four next month she said. So they let him do it. He was so cute!! The robe they gave him kept falling off but he just kept on trying. Then they gave him a broken lightsaber so he was having problems with that too. But then they gave him a good one and he did awesome. At the end the kids have to fight Darth Vader and Darth Maul. Colby got to fight Darth Vadar. But he was smiling the whole time. The Jedi Master thought that was pretty funny.
Here's some pictures from Bryan favorite ride, Splash Mountain. I tried to get a picture of them going down the drop but it didn't turn out very good. I got some cute one anyways though. Bryan would always yell, "Oh man, I love this part" way loud whenever we would go down the drop. The one and only time I rode with them I got drenched and they hardly even got a drop on them. I rode in front, so maybe that was a bad idea.

Disneyland Trip!!!

We had a blast on vacation last week. It was so much fun, Colby was able to go on all the big kids rides this time. So of course he loved Splash Mountain and StarTours. He wasn't quite tall enough cause he is really short for his age. But I knew that he would be super bummed if he didn't get to go on them this time, he was bummed last time we went cause he wasn't tall enough. So I kindof cheated. . . I made him wear his snow boots and then I had to put a bar of soup inside the snow boots to make him tall enough. He was a great sport about it, we told him he had to keep it a secret or they wouldn't let him ride the rides. I think he only got measured like twice though so it wasn't a big deal. Tyler did a lot better with the characters then I thought he would. I thought he would be terrified of them and scream everytime we got near them. Thats what he did last time. But he liked most of them. He was still a little bit nervous but he liked getting his picture taken with them. Bryan loved everything of course. He was such a good sport because his favorite ride is Splash Mountain but we wouldn't go on that until later in the afternoon so it would warm up a little bit. And he would always say, "I've been really good huh mommy, I haven't complained at all about not going on Splash Mountain?" And of course Peyton was the Angel Baby like normal. He just goes with the flow and doesn't care where he is or where he sleeps. He just keeps on smiling. At first he was a little nervous when people would smile at him or tell him how cute he is. He even started crying a couple of times. But by the end of the trip he would just laugh and smile at everyone he saw. Since I got so many pictures of the trip I didn't want to try and pick out five or so so share with everyone. So I'll just add a couple a day for a week or so. Enjoy!!

It was a little bit chilly so my mom bought Peyton this cute Mickey Mouse hat. You can't see it very good in this picture but he looked adorable in it.

Tyler was a little nervous of the rides at first when they would be dark and jerk around so when we walked by the carousal he got really excited and asked Peyton if he wanted to ride that one with him. Then the whole time he kept asking Peyton, "you like this ride Peyton?"

Randomness!

I feel like I haven't posted anything about the boys in a long time. So I just thought I would post a couple of things today. For Disneyland we ended up making the boys a job chart. Where they have to get 50 check marks for doing good things, ie eating good, brushing their teeth, saying their prayers, being nice to their brothers, stuff like that. Well, its worked great. We told them after they got 50 we would call up Disneyland and see if they are open. So Rob is going to "call" today and find out. Then we'll let them start packing. They have been great about getting marks, our house is always clean and they are always trying to do something to get another one. Peyton is getting so big. He can sit by himself for long periods of time now, and laughs and giggles about everything. He can't crawl yet but he can defiantly get where he wants to go. He just rolls everywhere. He loves cords? And anything cord like? It makes me nervous when his favorite toy is the vacuum cleaner cord or a Nintendo cord. So I don't let him play with that very much. Another random thought, I cut my hair a couple of weeks ago. I was so bored with it and we were at gateway for a date so I just made an appt and cut it off and got bangs. I haven't had bangs since I was little so it was kindof scary but I love it. I'll take a picture next time its done and post it.

I had to post these pictures. I love it when the boys get a hold of my camera because I get the cutest pictures sometimes. These are some of those pictures. The one above must have been this morning. Colby and Tyler get up so early sometimes and sometimes I just not ready to get out of the bed. So they just play by themselves. They must have found my camera because I don't remember taking the above picture of Tyler but its really cute. The pictures below are from last night. Bryan wanted me to play Nintendo when him and they both fell asleep while on my lap. Colby was playing his own DS and Tyler was watching me. Bryan thought it was hilarious so he wanted to take a picture.

The Boys Room!!

So I finally got around to decorating the boys room this last weekend. It seemed like when we first moved in I was all gungho (is that really a word?) about decorating and painting. And then I got it all looking nice and there wasn't any paint anywhere or on my floors so it was hard for me to bring it out again and make it all messy. But Bryan kept complaining about his room being ghetto so I figured I better do it soon or he was going to move out!! And I remembered to take before pictures this time too. So enjoy!!

Ideas Please

So we're trying to come up with ways to surprise the boys for Disneyland. And would love anyones suggestions!! So please comment with any ideas. The only idea I've had is that week before to give them all a little gift that hints towards Disneyland. Like a Mikey Mouse coloring book or Buzz Lightyear markers. And then that Friday before we leave giving them a Disneyland brochure from AAA that we got last time we went to Disneyland. We've already told them that we are going to go stay in a hotel in a couple of weeks. So they are super excited about that. I needed something to hang over their heads whenever they started to fight or not listen so now every time I just threatened them with not going to the hotel. Does that make me a bad mom? Hopefully I'm not the only one that does that. Anyways, ideas please!! Thanks everyone!!
