Splashing at Gateway #17 on the Summer List

They LOVED playing at the splash part at Gateway!!
Peyton was being so daring. . . it was so funny to watch him.
It took Peyton and Colby a little bit longer to jump in and start playing but they loved it when they finally did!
Tyler was fearless the whole time!! I don't think he stopped to rest once.
This is Rob pushing Colby in, then running away before he got wet. Colby was so mad!!

Family Pics

Just a couple of misc family pictures from my cousins wedding. I probably should have taken some of the of the bride and groom huh?Stubborn Peyton was purposely not looking at the camera. We got some cute boy pictures though.
He wanted one all by himself with daddy!!

Go Braves!!!

We ended up putting Colby on Bryans baseball team. He was just as good or even better then some of Bryans teammates, so we moved him over. Which is nice for me!! It would have been double the practices and double the games. :)
He's done such a good job! His coach was so surprise that he didn't have to hit off the tee and has hit the ball on the first or second throw almost every single time!!

Youth Trek 2010

Me and Rob were called to be Ma and Pa for our Youth Trek this year. I debated on whether I wanted to include some of these pictures because I don't think I made a very cute pioneer but I would have regretted it later, so don't mind the no make up, pig tail look please! We went to a place called Mosida Ranch, it was kind of by Saratoga Springs. This is our cute family!!
The first day. . weather was great!! Not to hot and even a little overcast to block the sun.
We walked 12 miles the first day, and honestly it wasn't that bad at all. It defiantly didn't seem like 12 miles. Everyone was such good helpers and never complained!
My adorable husband!! He would have made a great pioneer!!
Having some fun at camp the first night. Tug of War!! Sadly we lost every time.
This is the beginning of the 2nd day, right before the Womens Pull. For those of you who've never been on Trek, I'll explain. They call all the men away from your handcart and send them "on a mission" That leaves just the women in your family to pull the handcart. The missionaries that run this ranch have a part specifically made for this trial. DEEP DEEP SAND, UP A HILL. They have the men standing just on top of the hill singing, "The Spirit of God". It was an amazing experience to imagine the women having to go through this, and not just for 5 minutes but for months at a time. Honestly it wasn't that hard at all, and hearing the men singing and seeing some of them with tears in their eyes because they can't help us was amazing. The next day, I heard that 13 men had gone back to get the Stakes handcart and they were struggling more then the women were. Makes you wonder if we had a little bit of extra help from somewhere else.
Just as we were pulling into camp on the 2nd day, it started to sprinkle. Just as everyone was done putting up their shelters it started to POUR rain. It was amazing because it rained for at least 2 or 3 hours, then just as dinner was getting done, it cleared up! Stayed clear for dinner, our devotional that night and then a ho-down right before bed. Just as the ho-down was ending, starting pouring rain again! You could defiantly feel the Spirit so strong during times like that.
Here's our "baby Ophelia". Needless to say, our family wasn't too attached to her so this was her "car seat" that she spend most of the time in.
The last day, was the worst as far as weather. It pretty much rained from the time we started to walking to the time we reached the lodge. We only went 2 miles so it wasn't too bad, but we were walked in ankle deep MUD. The entire time!!
Rob learned a new game while there called "Ninja" It was actually really fun to watch and he won a couple of times!
The last picture of Trek, just finished walking through the mud and the missionaries also set up a "river" that we had to walk through. It was about knee deep and freezing cold. Everyone had to go through it, they wouldn't let anyone just walk around. A couple of girls actually fell down while trying to push the handcart through. Luckily none of our family fell but it was freezing afterwards. It was a great experience and I'm so happy that I got to be a part of it!! I wouldn't say it was fun, but defiantly worth it!!

Baseball Begins!!!

With summer brings the BASEBALL!! I love it!! Love being outside, love cheering on my boys and love it that they look so CUTE in their uniforms. Bryan is on the Braves this year, with Coach Arnold. He loves playing baseball and is a really good player. He finally gets to do coach pitch and not tball, which is really exciting!!

He's one of the BEST on his team!!

He loves that he gets to play with his best friend, Dylan Call!!

Colbys Graduation!!

I can't believe that Colby is now graduated from Preschool and will start Kindergarten next year. It is crazy to think how big he is and how much he's grown. He did such a good job at his gradutation. He even got an award for being the student with the best manners all school year!
Me and my friend Jericho!!

His teacher, Miss Amy!!
