WIPEOUT!!

For those of you who need to find something to watch on Tuesday nights, I highly recommend Wipeout!! It is on channel 4 at 7:00, and it is hilarious. I watch it with my boys and they laugh the whole time. Then they pretend that they are on the show and keep "wiping out". Here are a couple of pictures of their little obstacle course they set up. Their favorite course is the "big balls". They always wipe out on that one.

Going Private!

Okay, I've decided to jump on the bandwagon. I've had people I don't know comment a couple of times on my blog so that makes me nervous. Let me know if you want me to invite you and what your email address is. Thanks guys!!

Birthday/Newborn Pictures

Here are some pictures of Bryan and Peyton that we got taken at Kiddie Kandids today. Bryans were for his 5th birthday, and Peytons were for his newborn pictures. I think they turned out great!!

Chocolate Pudding Maddness!

Who said you can't fingerpaint with Chocolate Pudding? Just ask Tyler, he thinks its fun!

St. George Pictures

Happy Anniversary!!

This weekend end we drove down to St. George for my grandparents 50th anniversary. The boys love going down there cause they have a cat. And for some reason they love this cat. They hate all other cats but Scampers. And they make grandpa chase him around their house until they can catch him and hold him. The poor cat is terrified of them, its kindof funny to watch them try and chase him cause he runs really fast. Saturday was the big day, we went to a park in the morning and took pictures of all the family. Then we went to a luncheon over at their church. The boys were CRAZY!!!! They only had a 1/2 hour nap and Colby didn't get one at all. So by the time the lunch was over I was ready to go home. Luckily we drove ourselves so we didn't have to wait for anyone. We ended up leaving before the reception even started cause they were just out of control. Peyton was great the entire time of course. He still just eats and sleeps. Even in the car we only had to stop once to feed him, and then he would go back to sleep. Its so nice when they are at this stage, and not the monster stage like my other boys are!!

Welcome Home Peyton!!!!

Yeah!!! We got to bring Peyton home today. We went to the hospital to visit and the doctor decided that he was doing great and could come home. The boys were so excited. Luckily Robs brother and sister in-law, Herb and Natalie were coming up to visit him. So they were able to watch the boys while the nurses discharged him. The boys were so cute when we got home. They all ran into the bathroom to wash their hands so that they could hold him. Then they were so curious as to how Peyton ate his food. We didn't show them that part but we explained as best as we could. He has been such an angel baby so far. He came home, ate, and then went right to sleep. He's been asleep for about 3 hours now and hasn't made a peep. The boys want him to wake up again so they can hold him. Even Tyler seems to be excited about being a big brother. He keeps wanting to give him big hugs and wants to share his pacifier with him. Tyler is fascinated with pacifiers because he never had one I guess. I thought I would give him a couple of hours of being home before I bombarded him with the camera. So I'll post more pictures later!!

More updates

We got to talk to the doctor last night, and we got some bad news. He wants to keep Peyton in there for a couple more days just to make sure that he is eating how he's supposed to. So he just wants to moniter him and make sure that he wakes up and wants to eat every couple of hours. Instead of us waking him up and giving him a specific amount to eat. He can eat however much he wants now, whenever he wants. We're crossing our fingers for this weekend, but we'll see. Thanks everyone for your concern and love!!!

Peyton Update

We got to talk to the doctor today. He explained a little bit better why they want to tube him every other feeding. It is because he gets so tired and exhausted after each bottle feeding, and that tubing every other time will help him get the rest he needs to eventually bottle feed every single time. He also has Jaundice so they have him under lights. That is almost gone so they will remove the lights tomorrow. Not having Jaundice anymore will also up his energy level. So we're still crossing our fingers for taking him home on Thursday but it might be Friday. Rob can always get him to eat everything that he needs to, so he has decided to be there for every feeding just to make sure Peyton doesn't be naughty and fall asleep in the middle of it. He is such a sweet and caring daddy!!

Baby Peyton!!!

Here are a couple of pictures of Peyton. He is doing good. The only issue he has right now is making sure that he is eating enough. Everytime that we go to feed him he does great, but if the nurses feed him they say he is too tired to eat and will feed him through the tube. Its getting really annoying because that is keeping him from coming home. We're going to talk to the dr today and find out why they don't try to wake him to feed him. Poor Colby is so sad that he can't see his baby brother. On Sunday they did let us wheel him into the regular nursery so he could see him through the window. He was so excited, so was Bryan and Tyler. Colby took about 20 pictures of him and just kept laughing and smiling. I'll let you know of any updates we get from the dr today.

Happy Birthday to Bryan!!!

Bryan had a birthday party on Saturday morning, so I rushed out of the hospital so I could make it. He was so excited for it all week long and I didn't want it ruined by Peyton coming early. Thank you to my mom and dad for helping with it though. They did most of the work and I just showed up. He had such a great time, it was an Indiana Jones party. They did a slippy slide and had a pinata. His favorite present was probably the Wii Indiana Jones game. Although he hasn't been able to play it very much because we've spent most of the time at my parents house since its so much closer to the hospital. Him and daddy are playing it right now so he's pretty excited.

Nesting Mommy!

Okay, I'm defiantly "nesting" I think. I have a huge list of things that I want to get done before Peyton comes and not a lot of time to do it. Tyler was born at 35 1/2 weeks and I'm 35 weeks today. But hopefully he doesn't come that early because we are so busy the next couple of weeks. Yesterday I touched up the boys paint in their room. And today me and Rob touched up all of our walls. I still have to touch up the baseboards too. The boys have sliding doors in their bedroom and they always knock them off the track. And it almost kills me every time to try and put them back on. Of course it happens whenever Rob is at work. And Bryan won't go to bed if the closet door isn't closed. Well, a couple of weeks ago we bought those stopper things that you put on the floor that keeps the doors from rocking. We just haven't gotten around to installing them. Colby knocked both doors off today so I decided to just do it myself. Instead of drilling them like your supposed to, I just nailed them to the floor. I knew I wouldn't be able to drill them cause I'm not very strong. It worked though. I'm sure within a couple of days Colby will find another way to knock them off. He's good at that. My mom called me when I was working on it and told me I was impatient. Its true, I am. Especially when I get something in my head I want to do. She called me again a couple of hours later and asked what I was doing. I was weeding my front flowerbed. She's afraid I'm going to put myself into labor because I'm doing so much stuff that is hard. But I have to get these things done in case he does come early. I think I have everything ready as far as his stuff goes though. So if he does come early it will be ready for him. Except for socks??? When I got out all of the clothes to wash I couldn't find any socks? Weird huh?? Oh well, socks are pretty cheap. I still have to buy some picture frames for the boys room and I have to have Rob hang a shelf in Peytons room. Then I'll post some pictures of the finished products.

Weekend Fun!!

We had a pretty busy weekend but it was fun. Friday we had a swim party with my dads side of the family. My grandma and grandpa (a.k.a grandpa smee from st. george) were in town for a baptism and wanted to get everyone together for some fun. So we had a BBQ first and then swam. They were all so amazed at how good Bryan and Colby can swim. They loved it. Saturday we went to a 4th of July breakfast with my parents ward in Layton but had to hurry home because Bryan had a birthday party. Then after the party we had a luncheon at my Aunt Dianes house before the baptism. We stayed outside the whole time because there was so many people, it was so hot but the boys love being outside where they can play and not have to be just sitting there talking to people. Then we went to the baptism. It was for my cousin Tinas boy, Kayden. He was so excited, my cousin Zach just became a Priest so he was able to perform the baptism. That was really special because he is going on a mission at the end of the year and loved that opportunity. After we went to Coldstone and got some ice cream. I love that place, I wish there was one closer to our house and we didn't have to go to Layton every time I craved it. Well, by the time all that was done me and Rob were supposed to go out for my birthday but I was so tired and exhausted that I just wanted to go home. Rob cooked me omelets for dinner and we went to bed early cause the boys had a sleepover. Yesterday we went to my in-laws for a double birthday party with Tiffany. We spent most of the day outside where the boys played on a slippy slide and a blow up pool they have. So as you can see, it was definitely a busy weekend but it was fun too!!!

My 1st Birthday Present!!

So I recieved my first birthday present today even though my birthday isn't until Saturday. Bryan came downstairs and was so excited to show me something that he did upstairs. Thats always a scarey thing to hear from him. I was expecting a huge mess or something. But I got up there and he had "cleaned" the house!! And said, do you like it? Its your first birthday present!! It was so cute he had picked up everything and put it in his bedroom. He's so thoughtful sometimes!!!
