Zoo Fun!!

Here's a couple of pictures from our Zoo trip we took today. We were bored so we thought we would surprise the boys. They were really excited and loved it. Especially Tyler and Peyton. Tyler was a little bit too little last year to really understand the animals but he loved them this year. During the bird show, one bird actually hit Bryan in the head when it was swooping by. Not hard just his wing, but Bryan thought it was hilarious!!They loved the new Madagascar exhibit, Tyler kept singing the "Move it" song! They were excited that they got to ride on their favorites during the carousel ride. Bryan loves riding the Wolf.Colbys favorite it Donkey Kong. And Tyler got to ride Moto Moto from Madagascar!Peyton got so excited when he saw the little meerkats running around behind him. He kept laughing, it was hard to get a picture of them right behind him though cause they wouldn't stop running back and forth. You can kind of see it to the right. . .And of course we had to stop by the souvenir store to get more animals. Its horrible that you spend more money on stuffed animals then we actually spent getting in the zoo, but oh well, they love stuffed animals!Tyler got a Moose, because that's his nickname!Colby loved how the daddy monkey and baby monkey could ride on his back! Peyton was spent at this time, he was so tired, he didn't really care about his new frog.

I had to add this picture onto the end, this is Tylers "bear face". I thought it was way cute. And by the way, if you're planning on going to the zoo this year, grab a can of Dr. Pepper. If you buy an adult ticket, you get a child ticket free with the can!!

Preschool graduation/fun vacations!

We've been having computer issues that last week and just barely got our computer up and running again, so its been a while since I've updated. . . . sorry! Bryan graduated from Preschool last week, he is so excited to start Kindergarten in the fall. They did a graduation program where they showed the parents all the stuff they learned this year. Bryan sang all his songs so good and so loud. He even had a solo part where he had to sing "Peter Cottontail" all by himself. He was so proud he kept looking at the camera making sure daddy was still videotaping him. After that we drove down to St. George and Arizona so visit my grandparents. The boys love going to St. George and visiting Scampers, their cat!! It is the only cat that they like. They also went to the dinosaur museum with Grandpa Smith. Then we went to Arizona to visit my moms parents. We went to a city called Oatman where wild donkeys walk down the street and you can feed them carrots. The boys loved that of course. Tyler was a little nervous when they would get so close. Peyton loved them though, the donkeys would come right up to him and try and eat his carrot that he was eating for himself. Then Peyton would share the rest of his. It was a long drive but we had fun so it was worth it!

So Bryan got this great idea the other day that he wanted to learn how to ride his bike. But he wanted daddy to help him not mommy. So yesterday we got his bike all ready and took off his training wheels. Then he started getting nervous. Bryan can be really good at things if he just trys and doesn't whimp out. He's kindof a scaredy cat. So Rob got him started before they had to go to school. He didn't go very good because he was so nervous. The whole time Colby was bugging us because he wanted to try too. So to prove to Bryan that even Colby can do it (colby is our daredevil, he will try anything) we took Colbys training wheels off too. Well, they didn't get to practice very long because we had to leave, so when we got back from school. Bryan was all excited to try again. Probably because he saw how good Colby did and didn't want to get showen up by his little brother. He did great the second time, he was a little nervous about going down hill but then we had Papa stand at the bottom so he could catch him if he fell. Colby did really good too, mostly just coasting but he's catching on. And he is all smiles the whole time. He would start looking at who was looking at him and get this big smile on his face. Rob would remind him to look where he's going or he was going to crash. He was a fun day!

Peytons a cutie!!

I had to do a post on something that Peyton does that I think is so cute! Whenever he gets tired he'll crawl into to his room, climb up on this crib and try and pull this blanket out. If he sees a bottle he'll try and pull that out too. I think its so adorable so I had to take pictures. You can't see his face but he's sad and crying. Then as soon as I put him into his crib he gets so excited!! He's always been one that doesn't like to be held when he's tired but just likes to be left alone.

I love warm weather!!

I hope everyone had a great mothers day!! I know I did! Rob let me sleep in until 8:45 then I had breakfast waiting for me. Along with some very cute Mothers Day cards made by my boys. I was informed that Peyton ate his so I didn't get one from him. Rob got me a new Ipod shuffle so when we're swimming all summer we can listen to music too. I loved it!! Bryan gave me a great present too by singing the loudest during the primary sacrament song. He even knew the words to the whole song when all the other kids got really quiet because they forgot them. Colby was too nervous to go up, he said maybe when he's five he'll do it? That night we went to my moms house and had a BBQ. It was a great day!!
These are from Saturday, we had a BBQ that day too!!

Peyton had his very first Ice Cream Sandwich!! He loved it of course!!

Haircuts!!

So I thought that giving yourself a haircut was only a girl thing? Don't ask me why? Because the more I tell this story the more I hear that boys do it too. Well, the other day (probably about 30 mintues before I had to leave to take the boys to school) I go in out laundry room and find Bryan and Colby cutting their own hair!! I was pretty mad but not as mad as I would be if it was a little girls hair I guess. At that point I had about 25 minutes to hurry and buzz their hair so they didn't look funny at school. Bryan was so upset that I had to buzz it. He was afraid the kids at school would laugh at him. They didn't of course and now its just another funny story to tell them when they get older. And of course we had to buzz Tylers too so he didn't look funny with long hair. We cut Peytons also but not as short.
I also had to add this picture cause I thought it was cute! This is Bryan and Colbys new "hideout". They just like it because Tyler and Peyton can't reach them. And yes, it is on top of our washer. They like to climb through the window that goes into our kitchen. Weird layout, I know but the laundry room was an extention and they never took the window out.
