Our "FUN" week!

This past week has been anything but "fun" thats for sure. I'll start from the beginning and try to remember everything that has happened. It started last Monday when I noticed Colby having really big, really yellow eye boogers. My kids have never had pink eye but I was pretty sure thats what it was. Tuesday morning, same thing with Bryan. Well, we made an appt for Tuesday to go see the doctor and get it fixed. Sure enough, pink eye. Colby also had some fluid in his ear but the dr wasn't sure how bad it was so he gave us a prescription just in case it got any worse. Wednesday Bryan is complaining that his ear is bothering him. By later that night, it was "killing him" (he's such a drama king) so I made Rob run to the store and fill Colbys antibiotic prescription to help it. I think me and Bryan got about 2 hours of sleep that night. He was up all night long saying his ear was hurting him. We had some ear numbing drops but apparently that wasn't helping very good. So we watched Bolt and Robin Hood all night long. And Rob works over night so it was just me and him. Fun huh!! Tyler and Peyton got the pink eye on Thursday. Sunday night Peyton wakes up every hour freaking out. He is normally an awesome sleeper so I knew something was wrong. Luckily Rob doesn't work on Sunday nights so I had some help this time. We took him to the dr yesterday and his ear drum ruptured!?! Poor kid. And now Tyler has a bad cold that he can't breathe through his nose at all, so he's walking around sounding like Darth Vader. He's not very good at blowing his nose yet so that doesn't help much. So I thought I would take a picture of all the medications and prescriptions I've been dealing with the last week.

We've got the eye drops, that I have to give each boy every six hours for the pink eye. Thats just loads of fun~~

The black lid numbing drops, heavenly!!

Peytons and Tylers Tylenol

Tylers saline nose drops to help his plugged up nose, also loads of fun

And Bryan and Peytons antibiotics, every morning and every night

Lets just say that without insurance and cafeteria plan money, we'd probably be in a lot of trouble!!

  3. Oh my gosh...what a freaking week. Horrible!! We are no stranger to pink eye in my house, me and Carson seem to get it ALL the time. Every time we have a cold it somehow turns it to pink eye. I am so sorry about all that, hopefully you all are feeling better.
