Birthday Boys!!

We had two birthday parties this weekend. First we did Bryans on Saturday. Even though it was really Peytons actual birthday, Hannah and Addy were in from St. George and Bryan really wanted them to come to his party so we did his on Saturday. Then on Sunday we did Peytons. They both had so much fun. Bryan had a camping cake because most of his presents were camping related since we're going camping this weekend. And Peyton had an Elmo birthday. Thank again for all the family and friends who came and supported them. They had a blast!! Peyton didn't need any prompting to dig into his cake. He had practice the day before with Bryans cake and loved every bit of it. His cake was kindof big so I was afraid he would get a belly ache from eating so much sugar but he LOVED it!!

Bryan loved all his camping stuff, especially the sleeping bag from Nana and Papa, he got mad when we wouldn't let him sleep in it at home. He also got some Bendaroos from Grandma and Grandpa that he had been begging them for since Christmas. He thinks its cool he can write his name with them and then stick it to the wall.

Like Father. . . Like Son!!

Colby's got this new thing going on where he wants to be EXACTLY like Rob. It is so cute. He wants to do his hair when daddy does his hair, get dressed when daddy gets dressed and so on. He found one of Bryans old suits in his closet the other day and got so excited because daddy has a suit too. He kept bugging grandma to fix it for him so it could fit him. So this last Sunday he was finally able to wear his suit to church. Except he wouldn't get dressed until Rob did of course. It was so cute I had to take pictures. He kept looking from his suit to Robs and comparing how they were the same. He was a little upset when their ties didn't match but other then that they were the same. He was a happy little man!!

Busy Summer!!

Man its been a busy summer so far, and its not even half way over. Here's a little of what we've been up to. First off, we found this disgusting little snake in our yard, I thought it was gross, the boys thought it was awesome.

They also started T-ball as well, Rob got to coach this year. Bryan thought that was really cool. Colby started out just being the bat boy and helping out daddy. But he was so good at playing that we eventually just let him play too. We even bought him a shirt so he could be just like the other boys. He looked so cute with the helmet, it was too big for him so he looked like Chicken Little.

We had the 4th of july BBQ at our house this year, we invited Robs family and also our good friends the Haaralas which are practically family too. All the kids loved the fireworks!! Even Peyton, all though he got onry and tired at the end.

Tyler with his cousin, Addison. . . TOO CUTE!!

Peyton kept trying to crawl in the road towards the fireworks, Nana had to eventually pick him up cause he was fearless.
Tyler and Kate, she kept making different best friends the whole night, it was really cute!!

Oquirrh Mountain Temple

We had the opportunity to take the boys to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House today. Some friends of ours had extra tickets and we thought the boys would like to see a temple since daddy works at the Ogden Temple and they always want to see where he works and go inside. So this time they could actually go inside. They all did really good and were all reverant. Tyler especially loved the baptismal font and kept asking why he couldn't go swimming in it. He also liked the chandeliars. They were gorgeous!! It was an awesome experince and I'm really glad we took the boys even though I was a little hesitant about bringing Peyton. They let us bring strollers so that helped, we also went pretty early so it wasn't very busy at all. It was a gorgeous Temple!

Zoo Fun!!

Here's a couple of pictures from our Zoo trip we took today. We were bored so we thought we would surprise the boys. They were really excited and loved it. Especially Tyler and Peyton. Tyler was a little bit too little last year to really understand the animals but he loved them this year. During the bird show, one bird actually hit Bryan in the head when it was swooping by. Not hard just his wing, but Bryan thought it was hilarious!!They loved the new Madagascar exhibit, Tyler kept singing the "Move it" song! They were excited that they got to ride on their favorites during the carousel ride. Bryan loves riding the Wolf.Colbys favorite it Donkey Kong. And Tyler got to ride Moto Moto from Madagascar!Peyton got so excited when he saw the little meerkats running around behind him. He kept laughing, it was hard to get a picture of them right behind him though cause they wouldn't stop running back and forth. You can kind of see it to the right. . .And of course we had to stop by the souvenir store to get more animals. Its horrible that you spend more money on stuffed animals then we actually spent getting in the zoo, but oh well, they love stuffed animals!Tyler got a Moose, because that's his nickname!Colby loved how the daddy monkey and baby monkey could ride on his back! Peyton was spent at this time, he was so tired, he didn't really care about his new frog.

I had to add this picture onto the end, this is Tylers "bear face". I thought it was way cute. And by the way, if you're planning on going to the zoo this year, grab a can of Dr. Pepper. If you buy an adult ticket, you get a child ticket free with the can!!

Preschool graduation/fun vacations!

We've been having computer issues that last week and just barely got our computer up and running again, so its been a while since I've updated. . . . sorry! Bryan graduated from Preschool last week, he is so excited to start Kindergarten in the fall. They did a graduation program where they showed the parents all the stuff they learned this year. Bryan sang all his songs so good and so loud. He even had a solo part where he had to sing "Peter Cottontail" all by himself. He was so proud he kept looking at the camera making sure daddy was still videotaping him. After that we drove down to St. George and Arizona so visit my grandparents. The boys love going to St. George and visiting Scampers, their cat!! It is the only cat that they like. They also went to the dinosaur museum with Grandpa Smith. Then we went to Arizona to visit my moms parents. We went to a city called Oatman where wild donkeys walk down the street and you can feed them carrots. The boys loved that of course. Tyler was a little nervous when they would get so close. Peyton loved them though, the donkeys would come right up to him and try and eat his carrot that he was eating for himself. Then Peyton would share the rest of his. It was a long drive but we had fun so it was worth it!
