Picture Tag

I tag anyone who wants to participate. Go to your picture folder, open up the 4th folder and then the 4th picture. Then explain what the picture is about.
This is a picture of Bryan at his friend, Isaacs, birthday party. They went bowling and it was the first time Bryan had ever gone. He is almost two I think. He loved it!!

Potty Trained??

So Tyler has come to the lovely stage in his life that he wants to run around with no diaper on. :( I'm being sarcastic because that means that he has accidents all over the house. So Bryan had this wonderful idea of trying to potty train him. He isn't even two yet so I'm a little sceptic of it happening but Bryan is really wanting to help him out. So maybe it will go good. Bryan went and got his old potty and takes it everywhere that Tyler is. Its really cute! So I decided to help him out a little bit and let Tyler pick out some underware that he wants to wear. He choose Bob the Builder. So wish me luck and I'll post updates soon.

Peyton/Tyler dr appt

We took Peyton in for his 2 month checkup today, and also Tylers 18 month checkup. Tylers is a little late but better late then never right? Peyton weighted 10 lbs 11 oz. I can't believe he is getting so big. He's in the 26% for the average baby, which is way good considering that he was 4 weeks early. They both had to get shots. Tyler is really bugging him, he keeps grabbing his legs and crying. Poor kid :( They also all got their flu shots, well Tyler got a shot, Bryan and Colby got the nose mist. I thought that would be better for them and they wouldn't care. . . no they cared. We had to hold them down and practically shove it up their nose for them to take it. Peyton was too little to get a shot so hopefully he doesn't get sick this year. So afterwards we took them out to lunch at KFC so Colby and Tyler could get mac & cheese. And Bryan wanted chicken so it worked out both ways!

First day of Preschool

Bryan and Colby started school today, I can't believe how big they both are getting. Colby did really good, I was really nervous for him because he still doesn't like nursery very much at church. But he got right out of the car and headed for his room. He started to follow Bryan into his classroom though. So Bryan had to walk him to his own class. The teacher said he had a trembling lip but wasn't crying, so thats better then I thought would happen. Then afterwards his teacher said he did really good and already knew all of the songs. Bryan did great of course, this is his second year of preschool at the same school. He could have gone into kindergarten this year but we wanted him to be the oldest in his class instead of the youngest since his birthday is in July. They even had show and tell today. Bryan brought a Star Wars book and Colby brought his Captain Hook, hook and a Peter Pan knife. Colby says he loves preschool and can't wait to go again.
Here's one of both of them before school started. They were ready like 2 hours before school started, then hated waiting around. They were both really excited.

This picture was when school was done. They ran up to daddy and started telling him all about what they learned. Bryan learned about circles and ovals, and Colby learned about the color red. Thats why he has a red ballon.

Peytons Blessing Day!!

We blessed Peyton yesterday, it was so special! Rob did a fantastic job. I am so grateful for him and the wonderful husband and father he is. We had so much support from our family and friends. It couldn't have gone any better. My mom made Peytons outfit, she did it about a week ago. And when we tried it on him it was a REALLY tight fit. It was kindof funny cause she has made all of my boys outfits with the same pattern and they all fit fine. I guess he's just growing faster then they did. It was okay though, we just buttoned the top button and then changed him as soon as he got home. Thanks again for making it mom!!! Afterwards we had a luncheon at our house with everyone. And then Robs family stayed and watched football. I'm not a big football fan so that wasn't the funnest for me, but it was fun hanging out with everyone. And the boys love hanging out with their cousin Kate.

Misc Updates

I feel like I haven't posted anything for a long time, so I thought I would just do a random post about what is going on with us. Rob started day shift at the Temple today. Now he works 7-3. Its so nice, I'm excited for him to start being home at night so I can feel like I can make a real dinner and not just mac & cheese every night. Even though last time we went grocery shopping I made him buy himself some TV dinners. That's one dinner that the boys won't let me skip on. We are doing Peyton's baby blessing this Sunday so we've been doing a lot of yard work the past couple of days. I am getting really excited for fall to come, but with summer ending that means the end of my moms pool :( So we've been over there a lot too soaking up all the sun we can get. The boys had their back to school get together for their pre-school today. Bryan could have started kindergarten this year, but since his birthday is in July we decided to hold him back so he could be the oldest in his class and not the youngest. Its the same pre-school that Bryan went to last year so he's really excited. But Colby is a little bit nervous I think. I keep telling him that I won't be there so he has to be a big boy. But then he'll tell me that Bryan will be there so he'll be okay. I keep trying to explain that Bryan will be in a different classroom. I hope he does okay, I'm sure he will. When we got there he was a little bit shy, but then he saw that they had a castle and a pirate ship to play with. So he went right over there and didn't want to leave. And he loved all the toys they had outside. So now he keeps acting excited about school and asks when he get to go?!? The good thing is that they go on the same day, at the same time. I didn't want to be driving up there every day of the week. So that will give me a break every once in a while. And also they have show & tell on the same days too. That will make it easier to remember!!
